1st rejection
just over 2 hours turnaround time for my 1st rejection (e-mail).
"So sorry your submission isn’t one for me. Interesting, but I’m afraid I don’t love its premise quite enough to feel I can represent it successfully for you."

well better to know than be waiting forever I guess.
I'm so sorry. I agree with Des that at least they did not string you along. Plus, you'll find someone who loves the premise enough to do a much better job than this fool.
this would be one of the peeps you suggested. i'm moving on to the guy at writer's house. have to eyeball my query for typos & plan to print & mail it tomorrow.
it's not like i expected a yes the first time around (okay, maybe a little bit, i hoped)
